I only went in for a few drinks at the bar while I was waiting to meet somebody but the staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is lovely and I got the sense that this would be an amazing place to stay. Definitely would consider spending more time here
Love it here!! The food is fantastic, never had a bad meal here!! All seasonal fruit and veg cook fresh and tastes amazing

🏢 We didn't really get to see much of the hotel as we were only using it as a base for a night. The room was pleasant enough, if a little dated. The staff I had interaction with were more than helpful. Unfortunately, other people in the group had a rather different experience with the guy on reception, and we're not impressed with his manner or attitude. But based purely on my experience I would say it is good as there is for such a small town. If you are looking for a much more upmarket ( although more costly ) stay, then Lewtrenchard Manor ( a couple of miles from Lifton ) is amazing.
The front of the Arundel Arms acts as a simple façade to what is a beautiful property with wonderful gardens. The afternoon tea was of the highest standards and a children's version was suitable for my nieces, who are generally fussy, but enjoyed the high quality, range of flavours and textures made available to them.

I give this place five stars.. It's a beautiful place with friendly staff.. Even our lil dog Teddy was made very welcome .. Definitely going to go back and stay again

Lovely place for a short stay. Characterful clean rooms, lots of parking and a good breakfast.
Amezing place, very friendly owners, breakfast was very nice and on time.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
